MNSI Deputy Clinical Director
As one of two deputy clinical directors, the postholders will also act as clinical advisors for MNSI and provide expert clinical advice related to their clinical specialty to inform MNSI investigations. They will work as part of the programme leadership team within MNSI and support the wider MNSI team in all aspects of their involvement with trusts and families.
The successful applicants will be experienced, knowledgeable and empathetic, being able to relate to staff at all levels as well as women, birthing people and their families. They will have evidence of patient safety, human factors, safety science and quality improvement experience, with knowledge and experience of the MNSI programme.
It is essential that each deputy clinical director maintains their registration with their professional regulator and holds a senior consultant level or equivalent clinical position, on aggregate two clinical days per week, within an NHS perinatal service concurrently with this post.
